Floyd Clymer’s Historical Motor Scrapbook Number Three

This is a used copy of Floyd Clymer’s 3rd Scrapbook, these “scrapbooks” are compilations of many vintage advertisements arranged in a scrapbook format. Sometimes Floyd makes a comment about a particular add. In the front Floyd likes to tell stories about about his experiences and it is a slice of his autobiography and American and Colorado History at the same time. In this issue he talks about the first motorcyclists to climb Pikes Peak in 1906 and his own adventures in conquering the Peak. Also some good stuff on California speedway racing in the 30’s.
Most of the advertisements are for vintage automobiles with a nice mix of motorcycles.
This book is well read and has some yellowing of pages.
