This book was written by G. Eyston and W. Bradley with a forward by Sir Malcolm Campbell. Originally published in 1936 by B. T. Batsford Ltd. in London. This version was reprinted in the United States by Floyd Clymer in 1947. It is an interesting history of the salt flats and land speed record attempts. There are great photos from the salt flats.

This copy was undistributed and unsold to the public, it was purchased from an employee of Clymer and had been part of his collection. So it shows its age but is very well preserved and never read.

Simca Owner’s Complete Handbook of Repair and Maintenance 1960 F.Clymer

This book is a compilation from Floyd Clymer Publishing. Floyd incorporated the contents of several Simca Owner’s Manuals into one book preceded by his own personal road test of a Simca Elysee and followed up with a service manual. Very interesting photos of the test up Pikes Peak and pictures of the factory in France. The Coverage is for the Vedette, Aronde, and has a service manual for the four cylinder models, the car tested was a 1959 model and the book was printed in 1960. So most of the information applies to that time period.
